Promote and support research, technological development, and innovation activities in health, from the deposit, characterization, preservation, and supply of human and biodiversity materials for the Unified Health System (SUS) for the scientific community and the industrial sector, through the rational and sustainable use of its collections.
Vision
To be an accredited and nationally and internationally recognized biobank holding collections of Human Biological Material and biodiversity and serving as a reference for biotechnological research, development, and innovation in health.
